Alessio Albi is a 29 year old photographer. He has only recently started to take photos at the age of 24. He was born in and also is still in Perugia, Italy. He started with other forms of art mainly drawing and painting but moved on to do photography because he thought it was "natural and easy". Along with being an artist he is a Medical Biotechnologist and nutritionist. Albi mainly does portrait photography his photos are very dramatic and usually naturally colored. He uses nature in a very interesting way, usually placing the subject within them. By surrounding his models with plants it emphasizes them, brightens and colors them. The features of models n these photos are very dramatized and are mainly female models. The photos are very exposing for women they show a lot of skin but not enough to be inappropriate. Alessio's photography isn't very personal I don't think he has any connections with his subjects. He is an advertising, storytelling and book cover photographer. He thinks that the quirks of these women should be utilized and used to make his photos look better. He also likes to use the natural colors of his subject like hair color and skin color to make the picture pop. He tries to make all of his photographs look very dramatic to emphasize the beauty of each person. On his website he doesn't talk about his influences at all. It seems as if Nature has a huge impact on his art though. Nature is in most if not all of his pictures and it gives his art a new perspective. Source: http://www.alessioalbiphotography.com/about.html I think that my photographs are not very similar to Alessio's. The subjects of each picture are in the same position but the colors don't match. In each comparison of mine to his they are extremely different. It was difficult to make the colors look alike. The people in my pictures also don't have the same appearance as the ones in his pictures. But although they don't look exactly the same, I think that they look noticeably similar. I didn't want to make them look as dull and I like my version of each work he did. The first photo is of Keelyn and Marei. These two girls are very close friends and were excited to be in my photoshoot. Although they were excited for it, it was hard to take the photo because the sun was "too bright". So instead of making a natural shadow they lay in the shade while I took the picture. Later I made a new layer on top and drew on it then changed the opacity to make it appear as a shadow. I really like this photo even though it doesn't look the same as the original I am very happy with the result of the photo and the rest of my work for this project.
